TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Harrison College, a private sector college serving 4,500 students at 12 campuses in Indiana and Ohio as well as Online, will present diplomas to students graduating from its Terre Haute campus during a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at 7 p.m.
The ceremony will be held at Terre Haute North High School, 3434 Maple Ave.
B. Lee Reberger Jr., Prosecuting Attorney, Clay County, will deliver the commencement address.
The ceremony will honor Harrison College’s 41 graduates from its Terre Haute campus. The graduates earned degrees in Accounting, Criminal Justice, Business Management, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, Medical Assistant, Business Marketing, and Medical Reimbursement Technology.
In total, Harrison College offers 40 degree programs in five schools of study. Harrison College, which is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year, has graduated more than 75,000 people since its founding in 1902.
“It is always a special evening for the staff and faculty to participate in commencement as each graduate is recognized for their achievements,” said Harrison College campus president Brennan Randolph. “As many of the graduates participating are working adults with families, I’m sure that the evening will be packed full of excitement and emotion as the reality of their accomplishments is celebrated.”
The graduation ceremony is open to the public, there is no fee for admission, and no ticket is required. Seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
