TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - One non-profit group is helping parents keep their kids safe while online.

Group leaders from "Become An Upstander" met parents at St. Pat's school Monday evening.

"Become An Upstander" teaches parents about online safety. Organizers say most kids are safe while surfing the web.

“By and large with all accounts we see that youth are relatively safe online, we just give parents a few tips to think about and a few technology tools to implement to help ensure their children remain safe while online,” Program director Daniel Claassen said.
