Woman arrested in stabbing, altercation

WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTHI) - One woman was arrested in connection to a fight where another person was stabbed.

On Friday evening, the Washington Police Department investigated a call to dispatch about a physical and verbal altercation between two people.

Upon arrival at 819 Axtel Ave, Police discovered that one man, Elijah Stoll, had been stabbed in the arm by Tammy Stoll, 43.

It’s unknown at this time as to what the two were fighting about; however, we do know that Police arrested Tammy on charges of Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon, Domestic Battery and Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.

Elijah was taken to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Tammy is being held in the Daviess County Jail at this time.
