VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Two suspects are now behind bars after a month long search but police continue to look for a third.
It all started in June when officials said three armed men tried to break into a Vigo County home.
A tipster led officials to Eddie Wayne Grisham, the second suspect.
Police found him in a Vincennes motel Tuesday after eluding officials for nearly a month.
Grisham is facing five felonies and a misdemeanor charge for an attempted home invasion and trying to run down deputies in an SUV.
He now joins his alleged accomplice, Antonio Rodriguez behind bars.
"We were very fortunate to get two of the three," Vigo County Sheriff Jon Marvel said.
Officials said the two in custody, and one on the run, should all be considered dangerous.
"All three of them are capable of doing some very bad things," Marvel said.
Sheriff Marvel said they've narrowed the search for the final suspect.
"We know who the third suspect is and we're out after him too."
Several agencies are putting in many hours to bring all of the suspects to justice.
Sheriff Marvel said the Drug Enforcement Administration is now leading the case because they are familiar with the suspects.
"The three suspects were involved with them so they know who the three players are," Marvel said.
For now, the name of the suspect at-large is not being released, in hopes he can be caught quickly and quietly.
Eddie Wayne Grisham is due back in court August 16th, his bond remains at $75,000.
If convicted, he faces up to 33 years in prison.
The suspect who's still at-large is described as a Hispanic male about 6-feet-tall, weighing about 250 pounds.
