Terre Haute police capture escaped criminal

TERRE HAUTE, IND (WTHI) - News 10 has learned local police have arrested a wanted man who had escaped police custody.
Robert Peoples, shown above, was placed in the Vigo County Jail tonight on a variety of charges.
Some of those charges include Resisting Law Enforcement, Criminal Recklessness, and Escape.
Peoples is expected in court tomorrow afternoon.
He’s being held on two different cash only bonds totaling $125,000.
Few details are available surrounding the arrest at this time.
News 10 will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
