TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute attorney is charged with theft in connection with a 2009 bankruptcy case.
According to court documents, Mark Watson was representing a man in a bankruptcy case.
Police believe Watson deposited three money orders into his own bank account, even though they were meant for his client, Frank Beasley.
Those money orders were worth $1,500 total.
Investigators say Watson has since paid back all of the money.
Watson is charged with one felony count of theft.
