EDGAR COUNTY, Ill. (WTHI) - Two suspects are on the run after a high speed chase in Edgar County, Illinois.
On Monday, Paris Police attempted to stop a car with Minnesota plates on Route 1 in IL.
The driver failed to stop and led police on a high speed chase, with speeds reaching more than 100 mile- per-hour through Edgar Co.
Around 2100 N., police said the car wrecked and drove down a deep ravine.
Police said both suspects fled on foot,and are most likely injured due to the extent of the crash.
The only description authorities have at this time of the suspects are they are black males.
Anyone who lives in the area is asked to be on alert and lock their doors.
The suspects may be searching for a new vehicle.
