TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Vigo County Sheriff's Deputies were called down to the Wabash River near Darwin’s Ferry, after hearing reports of a vehicle in the water.
Deputies discovered during their initial investigation that the vehicle in the river was a stolen truck that had been abandoned.
A tow truck pulled the vehicle out of the water.
An investigation will continue into the theft.
