TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Vigo County man appears in court Wednesday after authorities say he was firing shots outside his home, all while he was intoxicated.

Jordan Allen, 22 was in court on charges of criminal recklessness and attempted battery.

Police were called to Allen’s house Tuesday night on reports he was beating his parents with deer antlers and then got a shotgun and fired off several rounds.

After retreating back inside his home, police were able to convince Allen to give himself up.

He is being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.
