TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A second person is behind bars in connection with a daytime robbery at a Terre Haute gas station.

The robbery occurred January 16, when a manager at the Casey’s General Store on Third Street told police she had been carrying cash from the store to be deposited when she was approached by a man who told her he had a gun and threatened to kill her if she did not hand over the cash.

The manager later identified the robber as Charles Johnson, 29, during a photo lineup. Johnson was arrested Tuesday on charges of Armed Robbery and Theft.

Days before, police arrested a woman named Stacie Wood who worked at the store. Police believe Wood told Johnson when the manager would leave with the money and also told him to hide in a co-workers car that was often unlocked.

Wood has been charged with Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
