VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - A southern Indiana man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection to a juvenile sex offense investigation.

According to a release from the Vincennes City Police Department, the department received information stating an adult male was having a sexual relationship with a juvenile female.

Now, after a subsequent investigation, police arrested Mark D. Sawyer, 32, of Vincennes, Ind.

The release also stated Sawyer is alleged to have maintained a sexual relationship with a female who was determined to be 15-years-old. Sawyer was arrested on charges of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, and was transported to the Knox County Jail where is held on $25,000 bond.
