One charged with Jiffy armed robbery

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Police arrested one man Thursday on charges he robbed a Terre Haute gas station while armed with a knife earlier this week.

Authorities allege that Michael Herman, 26, robbed a Jiffy Mini-Mart on North 25th Street Tuesday. Herman was charged with felony Theft and Armed Robbery.

During a hearing Friday morning, Herman told a judge that he was innocent of the crime.
