One charged with child molestation

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Vigo County man is behind bars, arrested on child molestation charges.

Authorities arrested Charles Hancock, 38, on allegations he was found inappropriately touching a 7-year-old boy last Spring.

Hancock told authorities he had heard voices telling him to touch the child.

Hancock had previously been convicted of Child Molestation in 2003. He is being held in the Vigo County Jail on $45,000 bond.
