TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Wabash Valley woman accused in a December police chase appeared in court Monday, while police continued to search for a man arrested in the same incident.
Lee Bemis and Christina Gruner were both arrested in late December, accused of leading police on a chase while driving a stolen truck, then ramming the truck through a fence and driving into a wooded area.
The two were reportedly found 45 minutes later, lying in the snow near the Wabash River.
Gruner appeared in court Monday morning and was formally charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Resisting Law Enforcement.
Authorities have also issued a warrant for Bemis, who was released from jail and has not appeared for his court dates.
