TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute man was arrested Monday, accused of stabbing two men during a fight on the city’s north side.
Police said they were first called to the intersection of 7 th and Locust a report of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found Justin Sims, 24, being held on the ground. One man at the scene told authorities that he and another man had been with Sims earlier in the evening, when they arrived at a nearby home.
The man who spoke with police said he went into the home, then came outside to find the other man fighting with Sims. He reported trying to break up the fight and feeling something stab him.
In the end, police found that two men had suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds. Sims told police the other two men had jumped him, but said he did have a knife and the two men may have been stabbed during their fight.
