Mother charged on Operating While Intoxicated charges

VIGO CO., Ind. (WTHI) - One mother appeared in court Monday morning, after allegedly Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence with her son in the car.

Vigo County Sheriff’s Deputies found Becky Toney in Mill Dam Park.

When Officers approached her, she claimed she didn’t have anything to drink, refused to get out of the car and lied about her last name.

Toney’s bail was set at $25,000 with no 10 percent.

Toney will appear in court again December 13. Her hearing is scheduled for January 9.

Police said Toney has previous Operating While Intoxicated convictions.
