TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute man charged with sexually abusing a four-year-old girl was formally sentenced to home detention Monday.

Bradley Locke, 25, was first arrested in March 2010 on charges that he sexually abused the child at his home on Lee Avenue.

Locke was initially charged with child molestation, but later pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of sexual battery.

Under a plea agreement, Locke was sentenced to two years with the Indiana Department of Corrections to be served on home detention. Locke was also ordered not to have contact with the victim in the case, though he is allowed contact with any children he may have who are less than 16 years old.

Locke is also required to register as a sex offender for ten years and must pay court costs.
