TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute man pleaded guilty to a September 2012 stabbing during a hearing Thursday morning.
Isaiah Batson had been arrested and accused of stabbing another man during a fight on the city’s north side in September.
Batson pleaded guilty to Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon and to being an Habitual Offender.
Under a plea agreement, he received a ten year sentence, with five years to be spent in prison, three years to be spent on formal probation and two years to be spent on informal probation.
