Man arrested on child molesting charges

CLOVERDALE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Cloverdale man has been arrested on child molesting charges.

Indiana State Police say Richard W. Stuart, 21, is alleged to have engaged in sexual acts with a 5-year-old female, according to a release.

The encounters happened over a period of six months.

Stuart has been preliminarily charged with three counts of child molesting, a Class A felony. He was taken to the Putnam County Jail.
