Man charged with '06 child abuse

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) -

A Terre Haute man was arrested Thursday on charges that he sexually abused a child during a three-year span.

Bruce Bridgewater, 36, was arrested on a warrant and faces a felony charge of child molestation.

According to the charges against him, Bridgewater is accused of having sexual relations with a child between June 1, 2006 and November 30, 2008.

During that time, the child was between 10 and 13 years old and Bridgewater was between 30 and 33 years old.

Bridgewater is being held on a $75,000 cash bond. His trial is scheduled for February 4, 2013.
