Larry Bird's son arrested on battery, pot charges

MONROE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - The Indiana University Police Department arrested Larry Bird's 21-year-old son on battery and marijuana charges Sunday.
Officials with the Monroe County Sheriff's Department say Conner Anthony Bird was arrested after an altercation with his girlfriend.
Bird faces charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, a class C felony, battery, criminal recklessness, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
Larry Bird served as president of basketball operations for the Pacers 2003-2012.
