TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Jury selection began Monday afternoon for the trial of a Wabash Valley man accused of a 1979 murder near Riley, Ind.
Police arrested Richard Boswell in 2010, on charges that he murdered 20-year-old Kathy Baker and attempted to kill her 2-year-old son in May 1979.
At the time of the arrest, investigators reported they had received a tip that led them to test DNA found on Ms. Baker’s shirt. They reported that that DNA matched Boswell.
Boswell’s trial could begin as early as Tuesday, court workers told News 10.
