GREENCASTLE, Ind. (WTHI) - Charges have been dropped against a former Trans-Care employee who was accused of sexual battery.
Jason Jordan originally faced felony charges of sexual battery and theft.
This after a 26-year-old woman from Brazil, Indiana being transported by Trans-Care accused Jordan of inappropriately touching her and removing pictures from her cell phone.
On Thursday, Jordan pleaded guilty to a lesser misdemeanor charge of conversion instead of theft.
The Putnam County Prosucutor's office told News 10 the sexual battery charge was dropped because the victim has since passed away.
Jordan was sentenced to one year, all but time served suspended, on non-reporting probation.
