VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A police chase that started in Clark County Illinois comes to an end in West Terre Haute Tuesday evening.

The chase happened on Interstate 70, and led police all the way to 3-mile marker, that’s the Darwin Road exit.

According to police Cameron Awe was driving wrecklessly on the highway, going as fast as 100 miles an hour.

The chase was picked up by the West Terre Haute police department.

Awe flipped his car at least five times after hitting an interstate barricade.

He was taken to an area hospital by police for injuries. Police say he'll be transferred to jail from there.

He'll likely be charged with wreckless driving and possession of meth.
