PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A former EMT accused of sexual misconduct appears in court.
Jason Jordan is facing two charges of sexual misconduct and theft.
The charges stem from a 26-year-old Brazil, Indiana woman's accusations against Jordan.
Police said she claimed that while being transported by Trans-Care Jordan inappropriately touched her and removed pictures from her cell phone.
Jordan's bond was set at $10,000 with 10 percent allowed.
He entered an initial plea of not guilty in court Monday.
While Jordan is from Terre Haute and the victim is from Brazil, officials believe the crime happened in transport in Putnam County, that's why he's facing charges in that county.
He's expected back in court September 30th.
