VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A former West Terre Haute youth pastor has been arrested by the Indiana State Police on allegations of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Darrel W. Coffman, 30, of Terre Haute, Ind, is accused of performing various sexual acts on a 15-year-old male attendee of the Promised Land Apostolic Church in West Terre Haute.
Police say the sexual misconduct happened in Coffman’s car and home between February and June of this year.
Coffman was arrested on a Vigo County Superior Court Division 1 warrant for one count of sexual misconduct with a minor, class B felony. Coffman is in the Vigo County Jail on $35,000 bond, with no 10 percent.
The state police investigation began on September 12 after detectives were made aware of the allegations by the Indiana Department of Child Services in Vigo County.
