VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - The discovery of drugs near a southern Indiana school leaves one man behind bars Wednesday.
Indiana State Police arrested 39 year old Joseph M. Colvert of Vincennes after they found meth, several grams of marijuana and a bottle of the drug Chlorpromazine while executing a search warrant of his Knox county home.
Colvert's home is located directly across the street from Riley Elementary school .
He is facing charges of possession of meth within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana and possession of a legend substance among others.
Colvert was taken to the Knox County Jail where he is being held on bond.
