VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - The Indiana State Police have arrested Jonathan Martin on two charges of child pornography.
On January 20, Indiana State Police started an investigation after they received information that Jonathon Martin, 28, of Vincennes, allegedly posted an advertisement on Craigslist wanting young girls for sex.
During the investigation, Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force discovered Martin was involved in numerous online activities pertaining to child exploitation.
On Monday March 7, members of the Indiana State Police Crimes Against Children and Cyber Crime Units along with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at Martin’s residence located at 1411 Prairie Street in Vincennes.
The Indiana State Police discovered more than 20,000 child pornographic images and videos on several computers that Martin had been allegedly sharing via email clients and peer to peer file sharing sites.
Martin was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail where he is currently being held on bond.
