A Terre Haute couple facing federal kidnapping charges is now headed back to Indiana.
Nicholas Runyon and April Bell were arrested in Pikeville, Ky. for the abduction of John Johnson-Christian.
Kentucky State Police say they are transferring the couple back to Indiana.
Police say the pair claimed to be taking the boy to a birthday party but instead left town and headed east across the U.S.
Police caught the couple three days later after leaving behind a trail of ATM transactions.
The boy has been returned to his mother.
Runyon and Bell will face charges of criminal confinement in Indiana.
