Brazil, IN man arrested on meth related charges

Around 5 am Wednesday morning, the Clay County Sheriff's Office along with the Brazil Police Department and Indiana State Police went to a home near Church and Hoosier Streets.

After receiving complaints of a meth lab, deputies found the remnants of a meth lab, meth and guns inside a garage and inside the home.

Deputies arrested 38 year old Phillip C. Powell of Brazil, he remains in the Clay County Justice Center on a $25,000 cash bond.

Deputies said this investigation is ongoing and more arrests could be made.
