TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Fire officials investigate an arson from Wednesday morning.
Just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday, fire officials were called out to an abandoned home on 3rd Avenue in Terre Haute, near the 12-Points neighborhood. Once there, flames were shooting through the roof.

Terre Haute Fire Chief Jeff Fisher tells News 10 the home was vacant and did not have any utilities turned on at the time of the blaze and received major damage.

The fire is being ruled as arson.

If you have any information regarding this fire, please call Crime Stoppers at 238-STOP.

Fisher reminds folks to keep an eye on the neighbors. He says this same residence had a garage fire in late December.
