59-year-old arrested for sex crimes

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Police arrested a Terre Haute man late Thursday on allegations he performed sex acts with a 13-year-old boy.

Stephen Ramey, 59, is accused of performing sex acts with the boy. Investigators also believe that the two watched one another perform lewd acts and that the two smoked marijuana together.

Ramey appeared in a Vigo County courtroom Friday morning. He faces preliminary charges of Child Molestation, Vicarious Sexual Gratification and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

Ramey is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
