TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Club Soda, a club for recovering alcoholics, held its annual Thanksgiving dinner.
It's estimated that around 300 people came to eat. The food was
donated from club members.
Afterwards, Club Soda gave the leftovers to the Hamilton
Center 28 Day House and other people in need.
"It touches me at the heart, ya know. I have a heart today and it's a beautiful thing to see recovering alcoholics and addicts, new people to recovery, come in here and share their lives with us," said Jeff Weisheit, a member of the club,
Club Soda is open 24 hours a day from Dec. 23 to Jan. 1 and all are welcome.
