Citations filed in animal cruelty case

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Terre Haute clerk's office said 18 citations have been filed against Roy Griese of Terre Haute for last week's animal cruelty case.

Last Friday, Code Enforcement found three dogs and two dead cats on Griese's property. The dogs were severely malnourished.

One of the dogs passed away the same day it was rescued. The good news is the surviving dogs have gained about two pounds.

Griese is slated to be in City Court on Dec. 4.
