TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A man who led police on a high speed chase in the Wabash Valley was released from the hospital and arrested on Wednesday.
Twenty-nine-year-old Derick R. Clifton, of Clinton, Ind., was arrested and taken to the Vigo County Jail.
Clifton led police on a chase through two counties. The chase ended when he crashed his vehicle into a North Terre Haute Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Clifton is charged with drunk driving, resisting law enforcement, and criminal recklessness with a vehicle.
His initial arraignment is scheduled for April 2.
