TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Officials have confirmed that a body found Thursday morning was the body of Michael Miller. Miller was suspected of making a bomb threat Saturday morning at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
His body was spotted at 8 a.m. Thursday morning when a train engineer reported seeing a dead body near the railroad tracks on Haythorne and 25th street in Terre Haute.
Miller was wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and other clothing not appropriate for the cold weather. Police were able to identify the body with an I.D that they found on him.
Drug paraphernalia was also found near the body.
Police don't believe any foul play was involved at this time.
Vigo County Coroner, Dr. Roland Kohr plans on performing an autopsy sometime Friday.
On Tuesday, Police identified Miller as a suspect in the Union Hospital bomb threat. They said that Miller was picked up by ambulance from a local motel and taken to the emergency room Saturday morning.
Then, detectives say, Miller went to the pharmacy demanding methadone and left a red duffel bag on the counter saying it was a bomb.
Police later found clothing, hygiene products, and papers inside the bag and it was those items helped Police identify Miller.
Parts of the hospital went on lockdown and were evacuated on Saturday.
