BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (WTHI) - Fire fighters continue to investigate what caused a Thanksgiving Day fire that injured two people and forced them out of their home.
It happened in Bloomfield, Ind. early Thursday morning. The fire chief said it may have been caused by kerosene heaters.
Kevin Deckard and his wife Linny Deckard were at home when the
fire started.
They both received burns while trying to escape. They were
treated at Greene County General Hospital.
The Deckard have been released from the hospital but
officials are calling the home a near total loss.
