Accident near Bowling Green kills one

Bowling Green, IN - Just before 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning, police and emergency crews were on the scene of a serious accident a half mile east of Bowling Green on State Road 46.
The driver of the car, 20-year-old Calvin Knox of Bloomington, died at the scene.
Police said the driver of the semi, 50-year-old Scott Dickey of Indianapolis, told police he was driving east-bound on 46 when the car headed west-bound crossed into his lane and hit him.
Dickey received only minor injuries.
Clay County Police said State Road 46 had been shut down at State Road 59 for part of the morning. All traffic was being rerouted east of Bowling Green through Spencer.
