TERRE HAUTE, Ind - Three Terre Haute Firefighters are headed to Haiti to help with relief efforts.

Capt. Nick Sarris, Floyd Mason and Kevin Price will be trading in their fire gear to help pick up rubble and provide medical service.

The three fire fighters original plan was to leave on Tuesday. Congestion at the Port au Prince airport has them on hold until February 2nd. In the meantime, they're looking into flying into the Dominican Republic and driving over.

"This is the first of many trips that is going to have to be taken down there just to help the Haitian people get back on their feet," Sarris said.

On Monday night, Beef O’Brady’s in Terre Haute donated 15% of their profits from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
