VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - The Indiana Department of Transportation is rolling out a
multi-billion dollar road construction plan. The state wants to
hear from the public on its draft of the Statewide Transportaion
Improvement Program.
The plan has thousands of construction projects, including
many right here in the Wabash Valley. Officials will be talking
with the public about it in Vincennes.
"That is our plan," said Cher Goodwin with INDOT. "We submit to the Federal Highway and we include all of the plans we plan to incorporate here in the Vincennes district over the next four years."
A public hearing on the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program will be held Nov. 19 from 8 a.m. until noon at the INDOT office on U.S. 41, south of Vincennes.
