TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Holiday travel could cost you a whole lot more this season.
While surfing online, you may find rumors of surging gas prices
from $6 to $7 for 2010.
Current prices Monday in Terre Haute were listed at $2.49,
getting to $4 or more seems like a stretch. News 10 asked an expert
what's fueling the rumors of rising gas prices, he said it's the
weak economy.
"Prices are going to rise over the next year but I doubt it will hit $4 but it's not impossible."
The national average is $2.62, it was $2.40 this time last year.
