Recipe from Horse & Plow.

Ingredients:

4 Slices Dark Rye Bread cut ¾ inch thick

4 Slices Swiss cheese

1 cup red cabbage cole slaw

5 oz. sliced pastrami

2 oz. Russian dressing (recipe below)

Directions:

Heat a griddle pan over medium heat. Butter one side of bread and place on griddle butter side down. Place cheese on top of bread and allow bread to toast. With the pastrami piled, add a little butter to the other part of the griddle. Place pastrami on griddle for 2 minutes allowing the pastrami to receive a nice sear. Flip the pastrami and let sear another 2 minutes. Remove bread from griddle and place ½ cup of cole slaw on one side of the sandwich along with 1 oz. of Russian Dressing. Place pastrami atop the Russian dressing to complete the sandwich. Slice on the bias and enjoy

For the Russian Dressing;

½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 hard boiled egg

Take the hard boiled egg and onion and chop fine. Add the mayonnaise and ketchup until evenly incorporated. Finish with Worcestershire, lemon juice, and salt to taste. Set aside and reserve in cool place
