Army Staff Sgt. William Ryan Fritche, of Martinsville, Ind., died in Afghanistan in 2007

Army Staff Sgt. Roy Lewsader Jr., of Clinton, Ind., died in Afghanistan in 2007

Former soldier Sonny Hinchman, of Worthington, Ind., died in Iraq in 2009 (served two Iraq tours, was working as a private contractor)

Army Staff Sgt. Matthew Kimmell, of Paxton, Ind., died in Iraq in 2005

Army Specialist Kyle Snyder, of Carlisle, Ind., died in Afghanistan in 2005

Army Sgt. Kyle Childress, of Terre Haute, Ind., died in Iraq in 2005

Indiana National Guard Corporal Darrell Smith, of Otwell, Ind., died in Iraq in 2003

Army Sgt. Keith Matthew Maupin, of Ohio, (grandmother in Vigo County) died in Iraq in 2004

Marine Lance Corporal Joshua Hines, of Casey, Ill., died in Iraq in 2006
