FT. HOOD, Texas (KXAN) - Some 16 soldiers remain in the hospital after Thursday's deadly massacre at Fort Hood, Texas.

Of the 16, seven remain in the Intensive Care Unit, while nine are in regular rooms at area hospitals, according to Col. John Rossi.

The Army said Maj. Nidal Mailk Hasan remains in critical but stable condition at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.  He is still off a ventilator.

The Army has completed 200 stress debriefs after the incident and is bringing in special child psychiatry teams to offer grief counseling.

Rossi said the Army has moved the processing center for soldiers to another location on post, as the normal processing center remains an active crime scene.

The remains of those killed in Thursday's shootings are still at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, Rossi said. They will be given full military honors.
