TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Vision health could be impacting your child's learning.
As part of August being National Children's Vision and Learning month, Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett and local eye care professionals were on hand to raise awareness for vision health.
Officials say some common vision problems could be a cause for concern when it comes to your child's learning process.
"25% of kids have vision difficulties that interfere with their ability to succeed in school," Dr. Judson said. "Without a properly functioning visual system, they're not going to be able to do as well as what they should, even though they are really smart."
