Local woman wins major health award

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local woman wins big for her work in the health field.
Stephanie Laws from Union Hospital won the Indiana Premier Health Achievement Award.
The award is given out by the Indiana Public Health Foundation.
It goes to individuals who show outstanding dedication to advancing the health of a community.
Stephanie helped create the Tele-Health Network that helps patients in rural areas communicated online with physicians.
