ISU Football held Blood Drive to help boost blood supply

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana State University and Indiana Blood Center teamed up to help boost the blood supply to meet the needs of hospitals all around the state.
Hosted by Indiana State University at Memorial Stadium, the ISU Football Drive gave participants the opportunity to meet the players, took a tour inside the field house, and saved a life in the process.
“This is a great opportunity for our players to give back to the fans and members of the Wabash Valley community,” said John Sherman, assistant athletic director at Indiana State University.
Not only did the Sycamores football team host the drive, they donated as well.
Fans donated alongside Sycamore football players as they raised their sleeves, and added to Indiana blood supplies throughout the summer season.
ISU would like to thank all who participated in the event.
