TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Tuesday's Health Watch 10 is focusing in on how to treat shoulder pain properly.

Every year, around six million Americans will receive medical treatment for shoulder pain, whether it’s from a physical injury, or pain over time.

In years past, recovery time could be extensive and the surgery, invasive.

But now, technology has changed the way specialists, physicians, physical therapists and occupational therapists deal with should injuries.

That's why Dr. Matthew Jones from the UAP Clinic is hosting a seminar called Advances in Shoulder Pain Relief.

The event, sponsored by the Union Center for Joint Replacement and UAP Clinic, will take place at the Landsbaum Center for Health Education in Terre Haute.

It'll take place on Thursday, October 18 at 6:00 p.m. EDT.

The program is free, but you do need to register beforehand.

If you would like to register, you can do so by calling 812-242-3085.
