TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - We're keeping an "Eye on your Health".
Thursday's "Health Watch 10" focuses in on an upcoming health fair.
On Friday, The Minority Health Coalition of Vigo County will host a community health fair, it's calling "Getting Healthy for the Holiday's Community Health Fair."
The event is free to the community and the fair will help everyone get a healthy start to the season by offering free health screenings, information and education.
"Around this time a lot of stress builds and people are coming and things that they're offering to get us ready for the holidays and prepare us for the new year," said Ashley Sanders.
Again, the fair is Friday, November 30th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Booker T. Washington Community Center.
That's located at 1101 South 13th street in Terre Haute.
The fair will take place in the gym on the main level of the center.
Some of the screenings offered include diabetes, blood pressure, vision and cancer.
So stop by, get those free health screenings and start the holidays and the New Year off on a healthy note!
