Face of Fox introduces us to Crossfit

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A new workout routine is sweeping the country and the Face of Fox, Shelley Klingerman is giving you a first-hand experience of what it is people are gladly sweating over.

It’s called Crossfit, and it’s a high intensity workout.

It consists of several exercises that you probably won’t find at a normal gym, including rowing, rings and even flipping tires.

The trainers said the draw is it poses a challenge for people at all fitness levels.

“It’s infinitely scalable.  So, what that means is I can train at 24-year-old, post college Division I athlete right next to a 70-year-old woman.  [They] can do similar workouts—the same workout, but with scalability,” said Anthony Mazzon, local Crossfit trainer.

Classes are every Monday and Wednesday night.
